Sorry to hear about your sweet doggy! She looked like a wonderful family member.
I hope you are all feeling better soon. It's hard to lose a beloved pet.
Thanks Lex...I'm up and I can't sleep, losing a pet is like losing a family member--all I can say is I just wish people would drive slower in 25 mile per hour speed zone or drive the speed limit...she didn't have a chance...she was hit and we found her in the front yard...she made it home.
It's just so hard for everyone.

As a dog-owner and one who lost a basset abruptly a couple of years ago, I feel your pain. Yes they are like family members and the kids take it even harder...
