LUUUUUCY!!

I love Lucy.

Not that Lucy!

This Lucy!

Our bundle of joy is expected to arrive at our house in about ten days! I can't wait to smell her sweet puppy breath. And clean up her adorable puppy piddle.

Do me a favor, dear readers. If I ever start complaining about that puppy piddle be sure to refer me back to this post, alright?

I might not be back for a little while because I have to puppy proof the house!

I am doing an engagement party for my youngest and the theme is I love Lucy...How cute is that puppy!!! What kind of little girl is that?

She is just adorable Do write more about her. What breed? Where is she coming from? And don't worry, we also complain about our kids creating a mess in the house - you know it is the same with our pups who are also like our kids!

Look forward to knowing more about Lucy.

RBK is correct. Puppies are like having children. That is why I prefer children. They eventually grow up and leave. :)

Awesome new addition! My 9 y/o dog still acts like a puppy - all energy. The thing is he's a huge rottie and is a house dog.

Hmm, might have to post about that-lol.

I have so many kids, a puppy would just be more work. I remain dog-less!
She sure is a cutie tho!

What a cutie! My kids are always begging for a dog. Can't do it, though. It wouldn't get enough attention when we are away.

Can't wait to see more pix!

I think we should get Luc a puppy! He was great with my Mom's Jack Russell (9 months old). It was like the dog (Woody) was therapy for him. He was perfect the entire trip and just played and played with Woody all day long.

Can't wait to hear about your puppy! I bet Ricky is thrilled!

I see you're about to welcome a puppy home. Let me tell you about a fool proof house training method I learned while we lived in England from Barbara Woodhouse. Take a kitty litter pan, put in a grass sod to fit it...(you can cut it from the yard or buy a few just for this purpose (keep them watered so they live). After the puppy eats or has exercised, put him on the grass in the pan so that he knows that GRASS is where he is to go..not tile or carpet or wood...GRASS! Keep it next to the back door and after a bit, on the back porch so he knows to go to the door to go...I've other little tips that never failed me if you want them, just let me know.
