Happy All Hallow's Eve.......

Ali the "nerd"

Rickie at pre-school
I was listening to the radio this morning and I got this great idea for a post this morning!! They were having listeners call in and tell them the worse thing they got for Halloween!!!

Here's a few I heard this morning--a frozen waffle, can you imagine looking down and seeing a FROZEN WAFFLE, gee thanks...a bag of cough drops...

Rock hard popcorn balls.

Toothbrush and toothpaste from a dentist! (comes in handy though!)

So come on people, leave me a comment, and tell me the worse thing, or on the flip side, the best thing you received in your Halloween bag!!

Go to Candid Carrie and see all the fotos for Friday Foto Finish Fiesta!!
This is a great foto...can't take credit for it found it on Corbis!

*couldn't find Halloween pictures this morning-I would have to scan them, and I don't know how!

I remember when I was little getting an eraser...I was disappointed but it was a sweet old lady (she was probably my age now..Oh God!) and she didn't want my teeth to rot! How fun!
Love the pictures...Happy Halloween!!

Thanks for your comment Carey. Your right we are all human. I said that last night to him. As well as it was a stupid mistake, which we all will learn from. That's why I decided to post it to help others who maybe might not talk about it. If you sat in court and saw the faces of some of the kids and parents. Its true across the board it could happen to anyone. I am just thankful it wasn't way worse.

I to did some really crazy things but now think about them and today we would really be in trouble if caught. But that's growing up.I guess.

Worst thing ever for Halloween. A silver token from the Detroit People Mover lol Guess it was mixed in to some change given.
Best thing a ring hidden in an almond joy candy bar.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I grew up in NZ, where we didn't celebrate Halloween..so no weird things :-)

Over here (the US), I've found toohpaste and pencils in the grandkids bags...

We got apples a lot...nothing wrong with that. My mom made us throw them away though, for fear of poison.

Who would be poisoning kids on Halloween via apples??

The worst thing I ever got?

Pregnant.

Not really, but that was funny.

When I was trick or treating (in the late 50's!), we went to a door where a party was going on and the guy who came to the door had obviously been drinking ALOT. He said he didn't have any candy so he gave us dimes!! That was verrrry nice. So, we figured, hey, since he's blitzed he won't remember us, so we went back two more times! We were right. He never recognized us as "repeat offenders." In those days, our 30 cents translated to six candy bars! A nice haul!
