A few scenes from my neighborhood...

Went for a walk Thursday here are a few shots I thought were pretty good!

I had to put my hand though a hole in a fence to get this shot...what I really wanted to do...was go in and walk in the woods! Next time I'll find an opening.

I think the color this year is phenomenal.

This is in a cemetery not too far from my house.

Check out more photos over at candid carrie for Friday foto finish fiesta!

Lovely photos! I love the colors of Fall, too!

I hope the walk was relaxing & refreshing. I'd have looked for a way into the woods, too. The only thing that bothers me about a walk like that is the mosquitoes. This time of year they aren't as bad, though.

And I am truly glad that you are making some time for yourself and enjoying the fall.

I'm so honored, you put me on your blogroll! The problem is that it doesn't update. According to that I haven't blogged in 3 weeks. Does ANYBODY know how to fix it?
Thanks again!
Glenda

You should put your pictures in a calendar and sell it. The shots were beautiful.

Yes, Kalamazoo - there is really such a place! We lived there for the last 5 years... where did you grow up? Did I read you are in the Midwest still too?

I am back on the east coast now. I didn't think much of Kzoo while I was there - it was nice & pretty, and flat, made two best friends there - but now that I am gone, I realize how nice and quaint it is. Glad I got to live there... but teaching JH English in the 'hood in Kzoo was a TOTALLY different story!

If I lived there I think I would walk a lot more than I do. Simply beautiful!

What beautiful sights to see on your walk! Those are great pictures!

You know - I take my camera everywhere with me - but I don' take it on walks....I might just have to start!

I read your comment on Ronda's blog about The Shack. I just wanted to tell you that I had a rough time of it also. It did get better, and easier to read.

I hope you are able to finish it! It really is worth it!

Hi Carey -
Hope all is well in MI this fine morning. I just added you to follow on my blog, but I had my other email signed on and not my blog one (long story). Anyway, I showed up as a blank face and then again as the 'real' MommaRitz. Make sense? I will try to figure out how to delete the no-picture one from my end... I hope I didn't mess you up. If you are able to delete, please feel free to. :)
