H O M E!!!!

HOME from the doctor's today!!! Key word being home...this is huge for him. His PFT's were not that great, but the doctor said that will come. He has to gain weight, so carnation instant breakfast in his whole milk...milk shakes, McDonald's, you name it he can have it!!!

You're probably thinking he doesn't look that skinny...well people with CF they encourage to gain weight or keep it on because the higher the bmi the better the lung function.

So, Rickie eat, eat, eat and don't forget your enzymes!

Thanks for all your positive thoughts and prayers...you guys make me tear up thinking you really do care.

Thanks, Carrie and Heidi you guys are my girls! :)

Wow! So glad to hear he's home! (even though I'm rather new to your blog & sadly, haven't checked in for a while - smack my hands now!!)

I urge him via comment form to eat til his heart's content & his belly is full, full, full! For every meal!

I wish you the best & hope it's smooth sailing! (& I promise to drop in more!)

Woohoo! Bring on those cheeseburgers! But forget McDonalds this deserves something better. Do you have Five Guys?

Red--never heard of five guys!

Yeah, it's really hard to force him to eat, I sneak in extra calories when I make things for him...he'd rather have the veggies and fruit, has to wait until the junk food is eaten!

Maybe a new way of presenting food to kids that don't need the junk! haha

I was thinking Ben & Jerry's. That always works wonders for my thighs (aaand double chin)!
